From Classified to Congress
Today, June 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM on the steps of the United States
Capitol, a remarkable gathering of whistleblowers, lawmakers, journalists and filmmakers made history. Former intelligence officer David Grusch — backed by a bipartisan group of U.S. Representatives, investigative journalist Leslie Kean, and documentary filmmaker James Fox — stood before the world and delivered a message that changes everything.
The U.S. government is aware of several kinds of extraterrestrial life — ranging in complexity. The topics being discussed, Grusch said, "go beyond life in the universe." These are not fringe claims. These are the words of a credentialed intelligence officer, under oath, at the seat of American democracy.
As James Fox declared at the event: "The public deserves real answers. Congress deserves access. And reality should not be classified. If our requests are fulfilled, this could change the course of history."
👥 Who Stood at the Capitol Today
This was not a lone whistleblower standing in the cold. This was a coordinated, bipartisan, multi-disciplinary gathering of some of the most credible voices in the UAP disclosure movement — all united behind one demand: the truth, now.
👁️ Grusch: Several Kinds of Alien Life
Grusch's statement today builds on three years of sworn testimony before Congress. In 2023 he first revealed that the U.S. government had recovered vehicles of non-human origin and was conducting a multi-decade covert program to reverse engineer them — interviewing over 40 individuals with firsthand knowledge in the process. Today he went further.
The government is not aware of one type of non-human intelligence. It is aware of several kinds, ranging in complexity. This suggests different species, different levels of technological development, and different types of contact — all known, all classified, all hidden from the public and from most of Congress.
Grusch also named a direct obstacle to full disclosure — political appointees who have not complied with the disclosure law. Even as the PURSUE program releases files at war.gov/UFO, people within the system are actively working to keep the deepest truths buried. The fight is not over. It has simply moved to a new and more urgent phase.
🌎 The Varginha Incident: Brazil 1996
Among the specific files demanded today were records related to the 1996 Varginha incident in Brazil — one of the most deeply investigated and consistently suppressed cases in UAP history. In January 1996 in the city of Varginha, multiple credible witnesses including military personnel reported direct contact with non-human sentient beings. The beings were captured and strong evidence suggests they were transported to U.S. authorities.
For thirty years this case has been dismissed, suppressed, and ignored by mainstream media. Today it was named by United States lawmakers on the steps of the Capitol as a case requiring official records disclosure. Thirty years of suppression may finally be ending.
- Full declassification of UAP related files — including crash retrieval and reverse engineering programs
- Presidential waiver of all nondisclosure agreements for UAP whistleblowers
- Passage of the UAP Disclosure Act requiring federal agencies to publish UAP records online
- Release of specific records including the 1996 Varginha Brazil incident files
- Full Congressional oversight of Pentagon UAP spending
- International cooperation with foreign governments on UAP transparency
🌍 The Bigger Picture
Today's Capitol gathering did not happen in isolation. It comes on the heels of two historic Pentagon file releases — Wave 1 on May 8 and Wave 2 on May 22 — which together released over 220 declassified UAP files including Apollo mission audio, Cold War CIA reports, military shootdown footage, and Manhattan Project era sightings. Over one billion people worldwide have now accessed government released UAP records following President Trump's declassification directive.
The momentum is undeniable. What began as fringe research, dismissed and ridiculed for decades, is now bipartisan Congressional policy, sworn testimony, and public record. Grusch's claims — which moved the UAP issue from internet speculation into sworn congressional testimony in 2023 — have now culminated in a direct demand at the seat of American power. The only question left is how deep the truth goes.
