Disclosure Wave 7
Today — Friday, October 23, 2026 — the Department of War published the seventh release of declassified UAP files under the PURSUE program. Five and a half months after the first drop on May 8, the releases are still coming, and the Pentagon says it is already working on the next one.
This batch reaches from the 1940s all the way to a sighting from this past June. It includes a new black triangle report from federal agents, a technical analysis of the famous Tic Tac encounter, a declassified report on Skinwalker Ranch, and NASA and Defense Department guidance on handling unidentified objects that fall from space.
One difference from the recent waves: the official release page lists Release 07 as documents only, with no videos. One outlet that went through the collection counted 28 PDF documents, so this wave is all about reading the paperwork. Everything below is confirmed across multiple sources.
🛸 What's In Wave 7
🔺 The Triangle Keeps Coming Back
If you have followed this series, the triangle in Wave 7 will feel familiar. In Wave 5 a military pilot described a massive triangle that blocked out the stars over Afghanistan in 2002. Now three federal agents describe a black triangle near a secure facility in the American west, in 2026.
Large silent triangles have one of the longest and most consistent report histories in the whole UAP record. The Belgian wave of 1989 to 1990, tracked by NATO radar, centered on them. The Phoenix Lights of 1997 involved a huge triangular formation seen by hundreds of witnesses. Reports from the Hudson Valley in the 1980s followed the same pattern.
What makes the Wave 7 account stand out is who reported it and where. These are federal agents, trained observers, near a sensitive national security site. Their report notes the lack of any recognizable propulsion and the absence of sound, and thermal equipment could not pick up a heat signature. Those are details that make a conventional aircraft explanation harder to apply, though the files themselves stop short of drawing any conclusion.
🍬 The Tic Tac, Examined by the Government's Own Researchers
The Tic Tac encounter is the case that helped open the modern disclosure era. It is one of the most discussed military UAP encounters ever reported. What Wave 7 adds is a technical document in which Pentagon-funded researchers analyzed the flight characteristics described in that encounter.
I would encourage you to read that document directly at war.gov/UFO rather than relying on anyone's summary, including mine. It is the most substantive piece of this release, and it is the government's own analysts putting the physics of the case on the record.
🏜️ Skinwalker Ranch Enters the Official Record
Skinwalker Ranch in Utah has been the subject of research, books, and television for decades, and for most of that time the official position was silence. A declassified report on alleged paranormal activity at the property is now part of the PURSUE archive.
A word of caution, in keeping with how this series has always worked: the report documents reported phenomena. It is not proof of what caused them. Its significance is that the government is now willing to place it in the public record at all.

🌌 Seven Releases In
Seven releases in five and a half months. The files now run from the 1940s to this past June, and they come from the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, NASA, State Department, and more. Some of it resolves to ordinary explanations, and the Pentagon has been open about that. A meaningful portion does not.
The Department says it will keep releasing files on a rolling basis and is actively working on the next one. As always, we will be here when it lands.
